The town of Hassocks sits between Keymer and Clayton. The original inn is believed to have been opened to serve the thirsty railway and construction workers from Hassocks railway station.

Our menus are full of hearty favourites and country pub classics, including our steak & mushroom pie and beer-battered fish and chips, as well as seasonal surprises if you’re after something a little different.
