Pudsey is a town in West Yorkshire, England. It is situated on the A657 road, between Leeds and Bradford. The population of Pudsey was 22,374 at the 2011 Census. Pudsey is the administrative centre of the City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council.

Pudsey is a historic market town, with a market having been established here since the 12th century. The town's name is derived from the Old English for 'place of prayer or psalm singing'.

Pudsey is twinned with Birstall, also in West Yorkshire.

The town's most famous resident was the Victorian novelist Anne Brontë, who lived here for a short time in 1845.
