Huddersfield is a town in West Yorkshire, England. It is the largest town in the county of West Yorkshire and is a part of the Kirklees borough. The town has a population of around 145,000 people and is situated on the confluence of the River Calder and the River Colne.

The town is known for its textile industry and was a major producer of woollen cloth in the 19th century. The town is also home to Huddersfield Town Football Club, which play in the Championship, the second tier of English football.

The town centre of Huddersfield is home to a number of shops, restaurants and cafes, as well as a variety of historic buildings. The town also has a number of parks and open spaces, including Beaumont Park and Greenhead Park.
