Lyminster is a village in the Arun district of West Sussex, England. The village is located on the A27 road, 3 miles (4.8 km) east of Littlehampton and 5 miles (8.0 km) west of Bognor Regis. The village has a population of 1,743.

The village name is derived from the Old English for 'leather working farm'. In the Domesday Book of 1086 it was recorded as Limentun.

The parish church of St Mary Magdalene dates from the 13th century and is a grade I listed building. The village has a primary school, a post office and a village hall.

The nearest railway station is at Littlehampton, 3 miles (4.8 km) to the west.
