About East Preston in Littlehampton
East Preston is a village located in the Arun district of West Sussex, England. The village is situated on the A259 coast road, approximately 3 miles (4.8 km) east of Littlehampton town centre. The nearest railway station is Angmering, which is located 1.5 miles (2.4 km) to the west of the village.
The village has a population of approximately 5,000 people. The majority of the village's residents are employed in the service sector, with a significant number also employed in the construction and manufacturing industries.
The village is home to a number of schools, including East Preston Infant School, East Preston Junior School and East Preston County Secondary School. There are also a number of churches located in the village, including St James' Church and All Saints' Church.
