Small Dole is a small village in the Henfield area of West Sussex, England. The village is located on the A281 road, about 3 miles (4.8 km) north of Brighton and Hove. Small Dole has a population of approximately 1,000 people.
The village has a long history, dating back to the 11th century when it was first mentioned in the Domesday Book. Small Dole was originally a small hamlet, but grew in size during the Victorian era as the nearby city of Brighton expanded.
