Bolney is a village located in Haywards Heath, in the Mid Sussex district of West Sussex, England. The village is situated approximately 8 miles (13 km) south of Crawley, 9 miles (14 km) north of Brighton and 27 miles (43 km) south of London. The village has a population of approximately 1,000 people.

The village is home to a number of amenities including a primary school, a church, a village hall and a number of pubs and restaurants. There is also a village green which is used for a variety of events throughout the year.

Bolney is located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is surrounded by countryside. There are a number of footpaths and bridleways which criss-cross the countryside and provide opportunities for walking, cycling and horse riding.
