About Solihull in West Midlands
Solihull is a large town in the West Midlands of England with a population of over 209,000 people. It is the largest town in the Metropolitan Borough of Solihull and is the administrative centre of the borough. The town is situated on the River Blythe, 10 miles east of Birmingham and 15 miles west of Warwick. It is a commuter town for both Birmingham and Coventry, with good transport links to both cities. The town has a long history dating back to the Anglo-Saxon era, when it was known as Soillhul. Today, Solihull is a thriving commercial centre with a variety of shops, restaurants and bars. The town also has a number of parks and green spaces, as well as a lively arts and culture scene.
