About Chard in Somerset
Chard is a town located in the county of Somerset in the south-west of England. The town has a population of approximately 13,000 people and is situated on the River Axe, which flows through the town. The town is home to a number of historic buildings, including the Grade I listed St. Mary's Church, which dates back to the 12th century. Chard also has a number of parks and green spaces, including the popular Chard Reservoir, which is popular with walkers and birdwatchers.
