Adderbury is a town in Oxfordshire, England. It is situated on the River Cherwell, about 5 miles (8 km) north of Banbury. The 2011 Census recorded the parish's population as 5,52.

The town's name is derived from the Old English ādder, meaning "river", and byrig, meaning "fortified town or village". In the Domesday Book of 1086 it was recorded as Edeberie.

Adderbury is part of the Banbury constituency, which has been represented since 2010 by Victoria Prentis of the Conservative Party.

The town has a Parish Council. It is also twinned with Saint-Cyr-sur-Loire in France.
