Widdrington is a town in Northumberland, England. It is situated on the River Wansbeck, in the north-east of the county. The town has a population of 3,491 (2011 census), and is the administrative centre of the Wansbeck district.

Widdrington is a historic market town, with a market charter dating back to 1251. The town's market square is home to the Grade II listed Market Cross, which was built in 1673. The town also has a number of other historic buildings, including the Grade I listed St James' Church, which dates from the 12th century.

Widdrington is well-known for its annual Widdrington Fair, which takes place on the first Monday in August. The fair has been held since 1296, and is one of the oldest fairs in England.

The town is also home to Widdrington Castle, a 14th-century castle which was once the seat of the powerful Percy family. The castle is now in ruins, but is open to the public.
