West Kirby is a town on the coast of the Wirral Peninsula in Merseyside, England. It is situated at the mouth of the River Dee and has a population of around 16,000.

The town has a long history dating back to the 11th century when it was known as Kirkby-in-Wirral. It was an important trading port in the Middle Ages and was also the site of a battle in the English Civil War.

Today, West Kirby is a popular tourist destination with its sandy beaches, golf course and marina. It is also home to a number of schools and colleges.
