Rock Ferry is a town in Merseyside, England. It is situated on the River Mersey, about 3 miles (5 km) south of Liverpool city centre. Historically part of Lancashire, Rock Ferry was incorporated into the Metropolitan Borough of Wirral in 1974. It is within the parliamentary constituency of Birkenhead.

At the 2001 Census, Rock Ferry had a population of 12,341.

Rock Ferry is one of the oldest settlements on the Wirral Peninsula, with evidence of human habitation dating back to the Mesolithic period. The name Rock Ferry is derived from the Old English words for "stony ford".

The town was historically a part of the parish of Bebington. In 1866, it became a civil parish in its own right. It was then incorporated as a municipal borough in 1895. In 1974, the borough was abolished and Rock Ferry became part of the Metropolitan Borough of Wirral.

Rock Ferry is home to two Grade II* listed buildings: St Peter's Church and Rock Park Pavilion. The town also has a number of other listed buildings, including several churches, a war memorial and a number of Victorian villas.

Rock Ferry is served by Rock Ferry railway station on the Wirral Line of the Merseyrail network. The town is also served by a number of bus routes operated by Arriva North West and Stagecoach Merseyside & South Lancashire.
