About Maghull in Merseyside

Maghull is a town in Sefton, Merseyside, England. Historically part of Lancashire, Maghull was created a civil parish in 1866 and an urban district in 1894. It became a municipal borough in 1933. The town is on the border with the Metropolitan Borough of Sefton to the south, and is contiguous with Lydiate to the west and Melling to the east. The town is served by Maghull North and Maghull Central railway stations on the Northern Line of the Merseyrail network.
