Rufford is a small village located in the Ormskirk district of Lancashire, England. The village is situated on the River Douglas, approximately 3 miles north of Ormskirk town centre. Rufford has a population of just over 1,000 people and is part of the West Lancashire Borough Council. The village is home to a number of businesses and amenities including a primary school, a church, a post office and a number of pubs and restaurants. There are also a number of parks and open spaces in the village including Rufford Park which is home to a number of events and activities throughout the year.
