The town of Balmaha is located in Lanarkshire, Scotland. The town is situated on the banks of the River Clyde, and is home to a population of just over 1,000 people. The town is a popular tourist destination, due to its proximity to the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park. Balmaha is also home to the start of the West Highland Way, a long-distance walking route which runs for 96 miles through the Scottish Highlands.
