Balham is a town in the London Borough of Wandsworth, England. It is located south of Wandsworth and north of Clapham. The area is identified in the London Plan as one of 35 major centres in Greater London. Balham is principally a residential area, with a high street that features a number of bars, pubs and restaurants. There are also several schools in the area, as well as a library and a number of parks and open spaces.
