Tetbury is a small town in Gloucestershire, England. It is situated on the River Avon, about 10 miles (16 km) southeast of Cirencester and 20 miles (32 km) north of Bath. Tetbury is the gateway to the Cotswolds, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The town has a population of about 5,000.
Tetbury is an ancient town, with a market dating back to the 12th century. It was an important wool town in the Middle Ages, and later became known for its production of Gloucester cheese.
