Inverkeithing is a town and former royal burgh, and parish, in Fife, Scotland. The town lies on the Firth of Forth, three miles (5 km) from the centre of Dunfermline. According to an estimate taken in 2010, Inverkeithing has a population of 11,191. The town is connected to Rosyth and North Queensferry by the Forth Road Bridge, and to the M90 motorway by the Kincardine Bridge. It is also served by Inverkeithing railway station on the Fife Circle Line of the Edinburgh to Glenrothes with Thornton railway.
