Trumpington is a historic town in Cambridgeshire, England. The town is situated on the River Cam, about 3 miles (5 km) southeast of the city of Cambridge. Trumpington is home to a number of notable landmarks, including the 12th-century church of St Mary and the Grade I listed manor house of Anstey Hall.

The history of Trumpington dates back to the Anglo-Saxon era. The town's name is derived from the Old English word for a trumpet, and it is thought that the town was named after a trumpet-like instrument that was used to signal the start of a market or fair.
