About Edzell in Angus

Edzell is a town in Angus, Scotland. It is located on the River North Esk, 10 miles (16 km) north of Montrose and 30 miles (48 km) south of Aberdeen. The town has a population of 1,848 (2011 census).

Edzell is home to the Edzell Castle, a 16th-century castle which is now in ruins. The town also has a golf course, and is a popular tourist destination.
