About Kintore in Aberdeenshire

Kintore is a town in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. It is located on the River Don, about 10 miles (16 km) north of Aberdeen. The town has a population of about 4,000 people.

Kintore was founded in the 12th century by the Earl of Mar. It was originally a small fishing village, but it grew to be a prosperous market town. In the 18th century, Kintore was known for its linen industry.

Today, Kintore is a thriving community with a variety of shops and businesses. There are several primary schools and a secondary school in the town. There are also several churches, including the historic Kintore Kirk.
